Mehndi

Villa Pitiana

The Mehndi is the beginning of the pre-wedding festivities for Indian weddings. This casual, fun, come-and-go event is a time to have Mehndi, also called "Henna," applied to your hands. We will have a light lunch served, refreshing drinks, and some games and background music. To learn more about Mehndi, check our Q&A.

Welcome Dinner + Sangeet

Villa Pitiana

The party really begins here! It's not technically a dance battle but that's the gist. Food, dancing, and fun.

Baraat + Wedding Ceremony

Villa Pitiana

The wedding begins with a high-energy procession from the Groom's side of the wedding (baraat). This procession is welcomed by the Bride's side, who await at the ceremony location (details to follow). We will be married per traditional Hindu customs with fusion elements. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and will be followed by lunch.

Attire: Indian formal or Western semi-formal. Think garden party with light/bright colors.
