What do I need to travel to Italy? Please double check your passports to make sure that they will be valid for at least 6 months after travel! For guests with a US or Australian passport: Starting sometime in 2025, the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is a new travel authorization system that will be required for US and Australian citizens to visit 30 European countries. The application can be filled out online, however is not yet operational. We will be keeping a close eye for updates, and will share with guests as soon as something changes. For guests with an Indian passport: If you are traveling to Italy with an Indian passport, you need to apply for a Schengen visa as Italy is part of the European Union, meaning Indian citizens require a visa to enter the country for tourism or business purposes; you must apply for this visa before traveling to Italy through an Italian embassy or consulate.
